Welcome to Safesite!

The Safesite Platform provides a paperless solution to help log information for Safety Actions which include inspections, meetings, hazards, observations, equipment, and incidents.

After Safety Actions are logged, the reports can be viewed on the desktop by Project and Organization Administrators. Mobile users can view reports for projects they are on via the Safesite mobile app’s SafetyHQ section and export the PDF reports to anyone with a valid email address.

This guide provides an overview of how to start using the Safesite Mobile App as a Mobile User being invited to join an existing organization.

Important Note: Before getting started on the Safesite Mobile app, Organization Administrators must first set up a Safesite account through the Safesite desktop portal. During this process, an Administrator will send out email invites for Mobile Users to join Project(s) within their organization, giving users access to log safety actions associated with the company's Safesite account.

Follow these steps to start using the Safesite Mobile App:

Step 1: Download the Safesite Mobile App

Step 2: Accept the email invitation

Step 3: Select the correct Projects for your Organization

Step 4: Start completing Safety Actions

Step 1: Download the Safesite Mobile App

Download the Safesite Mobile App on your device by going to your respective application service:

On Your Apple Device

  1. Open the App Store on your device.

  2. Touch the Search button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Type in "Safesite" and the app should populate in the search results.

  4. Touch Get next to the Safesite app, then tap Install.

On Your Android Device

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.

  2. Touch the Search bar at the top of the screen.

  3. Type in "Safesite" and the app should pop up in the search results.

  4. Touch the Safesite logo from the list, and on the next page click the green Install button.

Step 2: Accept the email invitation

Your organization needs to invite you to a Project, in order to connect you with the Safety Actions, such as Inspection and Meeting templates.

As soon as an administrator invites you to a project within your organization, you will be able to log in by accepting the email invite on the same device you downloaded the Safesite app or logging into the Safesite app directly.

  1. From your mobile device you’ve installed Safesite on, open the email application that received the invitation, and view the email titled “You’ve been invited to a Safesite project”.

  2. Click the blue GET STARTED button at the bottom of the email.

  3. You will be routed to the Safesite app and prompted to create an account.

Alternatively, you can sign in by clicking on the Get Started button within the Safesite Mobile app, entering your email address, checking your email on your mobile device, and setting your password.

Step 3: Verify you are on the correct Projects connected to your Organization

  1. The mobile app will begin syncing upon creating your account.

  2. Verify that you are on the correct project(s) by clicking the Projects tab and select the project you plan on using.

    Note: If your Organization’s project(s) do not appear, please contact your Organization Administrator or Safesite support.

Note: If you are not an Org Administrator, you will not have access to create projects connected to your organization’s account within the Safesite Mobile app and can only be invited to projects.

If projects are created on the Safesite app without having Org Administrator permissions, the logged Safety Actions will not be connected to the main organization’s account.

Step 4: Start completing Safety Actions

Mobile users can log Safety Actions by either clicking the + Plus icon or clicking directly on an assigned Action Card.

If there is a specific Meeting or Inspection template assigned for you to complete, the title of the template will appear on the action card.

If Action Cards aren’t assigned, Mobile Users can also enter as many safety actions as they need using the + Plus icon at the bottom of the screen.

Note: If you are a Mobile User who is not a Project Admin or an Organization Admin (See more about Personnel Types here) then you will not have access to the Safesite Desktop for projects you are not given permissions for.

Mobile users can also access the mobile interface within an internet browser at https://mobile.safesitehq.com/ if they would like to enter safety actions on a laptop or desktop PC.
